The firm
The Firm was set up in 1997 as a civil law partnership by Prof. Jerzy Młynarczyk – an outstanding academic and expert in civil and maritime law, and by legal counsel Jacek Tylek. Mr. Młynarczyk had remained partner until he was elected a Member of the Parliament of the fourth term. Now the Firm operates as a limited partnership.
The key business of the Firm is to provide legal assistance to enterprises, with particular focus on the establishment, organisation and transformation of business entities, representation of clients in court and administrative litigation as well as negotiations related to the conclusion and modification of civil law contracts.
We have experience in M&A and due diligence processes, both for the investigated entities and for potential investors, in particular in power industry, with special focus on onshore and offshore wind projects. We have been involved in negotiating financial agreements for investments, project finance preparation. We have experience in developing principles for sustainable development of companies (CSR).
The Firm has been collaborating with enterprises operating in the maritime business as follows: PPPiH DALMOR S.A., Polskie Linie Oceaniczne S.A., Stocznia Północna S.A., Unity Line sp. z o.o., WTC Gdynia sp. z o.o.
We have been providing legal services inter alia to the following: Medical University of Gdańsk, University Clinical Centre, St. John Hospital in Starogard Gdański, Hospital in Miastko sp. z o.o., Metropolitan Curia in Gdańsk, Elektrociepłownia Wybrzeże S.A., voestalpine Signaling Poland sp. z o.o., and other.
